Design and Architecture Senior High Fall 2019 + Spring 2020
In the fall of 2019, Ramses Terrero instructed 50 students across Architecture + Industrial Design strands in the Design & Architecture Senior High through the FIU SOA Dual Enrollment program.
Architecture Project Synopsis:
The students were tasked with creating a new typology for a micro house unit that can be replicated (like a townhouse). Having a 20’x40’ lot they need to accommodate for basic living commodities as well as implement a “radical” program; such as a nature preserve / aquarium / park / art gallery, ect..
Software they are using includes SketchUp Pro, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and InDesign.
Industrial Design Project Synopsis:
The students were tasked with choosing an Automotive Brand and creating a new model that will either:
A. Not be a direct competitor for the brand.
B. Create a new typology for the brand / automotive industry.
C. Implement a radical idea in the Automotive Industry.
Software they are using includes Blender, Fusion360, AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, and Procreate

The Prestigious Award of Excellence in Architecture, was awarded to Sam Abuchaibe for her excellent mastery on the coursework, successful execution, and thought-provoking project implementing a modern take on Gothic Revival.
